Our Initiatives

HIKING FOR HOPE

Hiking For Hope is an annual community-driven initiative that has been taking place every year since 2021. Its main goal is to raise at least 300 pairs of school shoes for less privileged children in and around Majakaneng.
Instead of paying the usual R100 hiking fee, participants take part by donating a pair of school shoes. These donations are then carefully distributed to children in need, helping them walk to school with dignity and confidence.
Through Hiking For Hope, we combine outdoor adventure, community support, and compassion, proving that a simple hike can make a powerful difference in a child’s life.

MAJAKANENG YOUTH AND CONSERVATION CLUB

The Majakaneng Youth and Conservation Club was established to protect and preserve our natural environment while positively engaging and empowering local youth. The club creates a safe and inspiring space where young people stay active, creative, and purpose-driven.
Through activities such as tree planting, clean-up campaigns, environmental awareness programs, and art, the club encourages youth to take pride in their surroundings and become responsible environmental stewards. By combining conservation with creativity and education, the Majakaneng Youth and Conservation Club is shaping a generation that cares for nature while building skills, confidence, and community spirit.
