If I had the power to change one law, I would declare the Magaliesberg Mountains a fully protected, fenced reserve and anyone who pollutes, cuts trees, or contaminates our streams would face heavy fines or arrest.
Not because we want to punish people.
But because we are tired of watching something sacred being destroyed.
Magaliesberg is healing. It is peace. It is life. And when someone throws plastic on the trail or bathes in a clean stream with chemicals, they are not just breaking a rule they are hurting all of us.
The mountains cannot speak. So we must defend them.
