From the 27th to the 29th of March, 15 young boys came together for something bigger than just a camp, it was a life-changing experience. The Majakaneng Hiking Trails became our classroom, our playground, and a place where young minds connected deeply with nature.
With the support of the Harties Boat Company and a generous tent donation from MCSA, this dream became a reality. Because of them, these boys had a safe space to learn, grow, and just be kids with purpose.
We hiked, we learned, we laughed. Along the trails, we taught the importance of protecting nature, picked up litter to keep our environment clean, and discovered different trees, learning their names and why they matter. Every moment was a lesson, every step had meaning.
But more than anything, this camp built something powerful, hope. Hope that these boys will grow into leaders who care, who protect, and who stand for the environment.
This wasn’t just a weekend. It was the beginning of something special.
